Q. What are you guys?
A. Jasperstats is a roto/fantasy baseball stat service, developed by roto players and dedicated to providing the very best web-based service at the lowest rates. After careful research of the alternatives, we have put together what we consider the best deal available in stat services.
Q. How much?
A. For the standard web-based package, nineteen bucks per team. That's it. Nineteen. For the whole year.
Fax and U.S. mail service are a little extra, to meet our cost for long-distance or postage. We offer several types of report packages (full, budget) and issuing frequencies (weekly, biweekly, monthly), so rates vary. For detailed rates, please refer to the Subscribe now page. Q. How does it work?

Q. What, if anything, sets you apart from the other services?

Q. How long have you been around?
A. Not long: 1997 was our first season as a commercial service. But we began developing the program over five years ago, and we're motivated by being as much as 12 years behind the established services. We need repeat business to stay alive, and for that reason we put prompt, personal response to our customer's needs first.
Q. Are there any limits on number of teams in a league?
A. No.
Q. Are there any limits on the number or types of scoring categories?
A. No.
Q. Are your scoring reports updated daily?
A. Yes. So are the scouting reports and the week-by-week performance breakdowns.
Q. Do you allow daily and retroactive transactions?
A. Yes.
Q. Could we enter our own roster changes?
A. Your league's commissioner enters all transactions.
Q. When do you post the updated numbers?
A. By 9:00 AM EDT every day.
Q. Is your site inaccessible half the time?
A. No. We're very satisfied with our server. Last season, we were down, for periods of up to an hour or so, sporadically throughout the season, maybe four or five times a month. We were also down for longer periods, up to about 6 hours, on three occasions all last year. We don't know about you, but we thought that was pretty good.
Furthermore, our site isn't full of slow-loading graphics, and we sure don't have any of those incredibly annoying "animated" ad banners (or any other ads, either). So we think you'll find that JasperStats' accessibility and speed compare favorably with any other site, of any type, on the web.
Q. How come you're so cheap, yet your service is so cool?
A. Well, we're sort of like the family dog: not too bright, and willing to do anything it takes to gain your approval.
